Reversing the Legacy Exhibition

Reversing the Legacy of the 1913 Natives' Land Act

ZA Fanzone are currently on a nationwide tour as project managers and organisers of the Reversing the Legacy of the 1913 Natives’ Land Act Exhibtion.

Conceived, designed, constructed and run by ZA Fanzone for the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform, the travelling exhitbion is the largest of its kind ever seen in South Africa.

The travelling expo is unique in that it offers the general public an interactive view of the last 100 years of South African history since the 1913 Natives’ Land Act was passed.

In addition to the 24 shipping containers of artefacts, expo material and props that make up the exhibition, the public will be informed and educated by a team of professional actors and performers who bring the past alive – with anecdotes of forced removals, injustice and despair – while also highlighting the progress made in recent years and providing hope for our future of our land.
